Description

Found in an outbuilding 33 years ago whe3n we bought our property. It was wrapped in about 5 layers of old style waxed butcher paper. Kept it thinking I would use it, but having my own cast cookware, I never found a use for it. As can be seen this fry pan is marked on the back with both Wagner and Griswold logos. From outside edge to outside edge it measures 9 3/4" across. With the handle it is 14 3/4". And 1 5/8" outside bottom to rim. It has been used in the past, but in no way abused. No structural flaws or issues. There is some cooked on buildup on the interior walls, and handle. I did give it a quick wash, and wipe down with sunflower oil. It doesn't appear to have lost its seasoning.. No rust, and not sticky. The brownish areas are from cooked on grease. My knowledge of vintage cast iron cookware is pretty limited. But in my online search for info on the skillet, there seems to be subtle differences with it, than the others I saw. The "Wagner Ware" logo spacing, and the "Griswold" font size, and that the logo cross seems a bit skewed. Plus, I didn't see another with the letter Z.
