Description
The Lodge Manufacturing Company South Pittsburg, Tennessee Years of operation 1896 - current, still producing cast iron cookware. Vintage Lodge Single notch #5 cast iron skillet with "x" maker's mark. Restored, no cracks or chips. Some small casting irregularities, please see pictures. Sits flat. Made in USA circa ~1930s. Ple ase refer to pictures as they are of the actual item. These cast iron pieces have been carefully restored by stripping them down to bare metal by natural means. No sand blasting, wire wheels, or any other such equipment is ever on any of my restorations, so as to respect the original craftsmanship and historical character of the iron's surface. As such, natural irregularities in the iron's surface will be present, which can include casting flaws, pitting, or utensil nicks. Please refer to pictures for details specific to each piece. Each piece of cookware is seasoned 3 times. Thanks for looking!
