This 100+ year old skillet was produced between 1915-1920 and is in excellent restored condition. This particular skillet has a "C" in the center. Wagner Ware cast iron produced before WWII are the finest in quality for that time period. They tend to have very few casting flaws resulting in a smooth polished finish on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Cooking surface has a light utensil scores and just a few very fine patches of etching. These are nearly undetectable as you glide your fingers over a near glass smooth surface. The cooking surface bows slightly downward and causes the pan to have a slight wobble. No issues for use on a gas range but not recommended for use on a ceramic stove top. No chips, cracks or repairs. This item is from an old collection and was cleaned and seasoned, then stored for many years. Because item was stored for many years, there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally be washed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item may take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
