Description
I often accept reasonable offers, feel free to make me one! This is a very rare antique vase, because they were only manufactured for about a year with the "Brush" logo stamped on the bottom before the factory burned down and Brush Pottery merged with McCoy Pottery. Subsequent iterations had the combined "Brush McCoy" logo on the bottom. This historical data and mark means this vase was manufactured in 1908-09 before the factory burned, and it was only in operation for a year making these Brush vases quite rare: https://mccoypotterycollectorssociety.org/mccoy-pottery/jw-mccoy-brush-mccoy-potteries/ "In 1909, George Brush joined the “J.W. McCoy Pottery Co.”. Prior to that time he had established a pottery under his own name. However, the pottery only operated about one year before a fire destroyed the entire plant. The “Brush Pottery” was not rebuilt, but he retained the remaining assets of the Brush Pottery." A scarce and beautiful piece for an antique American pottery enthusiast at a great price! There are many photos, take a good look! It is undamaged, and the colors and glaze have aged beautifully, without any crazing or flaking or other damage.
