Toyo Sasaki Glass Jar Vase VINTAGE RARE Toyo Hand Blown Done in favrile style Clear glass with frosted glass squares on body The Iridescence is gold and hues of pastels Shimmers like a bubble 11" X 7.5" diameter IN EXCELLENT CONDITION NO chips, cracks, nicks As it is hand blown you will see some bubbles and "folds" in glass Founded by Magoichi Shimada as Shimada Glass in 1888. Renamed Toyo Seikan Kaisha in 1953, and then Shin Toyo Glass (New Oriental Glass) in 1957, the company eventually merged with Sasaki Glass in 2002 to make the company Toyo Sasaki Glass .
