Description
This antique vase from Faience Mfg. Co. is a rare find and a true collector's item. Handmade between 1880-1892 and featuring a beautiful and intricate floral pattern, this ceramic vase is a stunning representation of the French Barbotine style of applied elements and Victorian era. Its small size of 3.5 inches height makes it a perfect addition to any decorative collection, and its hand-molded 3D effect, raised relief, and high gloss finish make it a unique and limited edition piece. This vase was lovingly crafted and signed by hand, and its blue, white, yellow, orange, green, and red color palette is a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the artists who created it. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting to appreciate antique ceramics, this Faience Mfg. Co. vase is sure to impress. The Faience Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturing company that operated between 1880 – 1892 in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn, New York and the only maker of American majolica, faience and French barbotine wares in the country. There is little evidence of the remains of the Company as it failed in 1892. Their pieces are quite rare and hard to find. This vase is in very good, previously owned, antique condition although there are a few chips (very common for these pieces) on it but there are no cracks. This vase displays beautifully.
