Description
Wow! For those who like Eastern culture, this is definitely a surprising discovery! ! ! ! A large handmade Chinese pastel vase. The obverse pattern depicts the "Eight Immortals" in Chinese mythology going to the Immortal Palace called "Yaochi" to participate in an Immortal Fair with the theme of Xiantao. The paintings are exquisite, and the expressions, clothing, and movements of the 19 characters are very vivid and natural. The colors are vibrant and bright. It perfectly embodies the characteristics of oriental painting. There are Chinese poems painted on the back of the bottle and a lotus pattern on the neck. There is a Chinese mark "Made in the Qianlong Year of the Qing Dynasty" on the bottom of the bottle, which is a common mark on Chinese exported porcelain in the mid-to-late 20th century. Through this mark and the characteristics of the vase's porcelain body, the author believes that this is export porcelain produced in Jingdezhen, China's "porcelain capital", from the 1950s to the 1970s. Vase measures 18.5" tall, 6" diameter rim, 6" diameter base. In perfect condition, no damage, no cracks, no discoloration.
