Description

The colors are soft, subdued, while the figure of the crane and the clouds and lotus blooms juxtapose the calming pink that can be found in familie rose porcelain. I could not find another vase like this one so i can’t authenticate that it is from the middle of the Qing dynasty, but it is detailed, well executed, with a balanced, elegant design, and not the type of piece usually found reproduced in the 60’s, 70’s. Even if it is merely about fifty years old, it is a unique item that’s rarely found available to be bought. I’m having trouble letting it go…
