Description
Beautiful antique Perma Clay Black Hills S.D. vase. Perma clay pottery was started by William Tallman and Ivan Houser and ran from the 1930’s to the early 1940’s. Both were artists on Mt. Rushmore. They both resigned from the Rushmore project to devote themselves to their pottery business in 1935. They would change the name from Perma clay to Rushmore Pottery. This is a beautiful large piece of Perma clay pottery. The piece is in good-great used condition for the age. I will be paying for insurance through the USPS. Please check out my photos. Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions that you may have.
