Description
This stunning and quite rare Cambridge 717 La Rosa vase features exquisite etched bird and butterfly designs that make it a perfect addition to any art deco themed collection. Crafted in elegant glass with a glossy finish, this vase stands at 13 inches tall and has a width of 6.5 inches. Produced in the early 20th century (1911-1940), this original piece showcases the production technique of etching. The vase is vibrantly colored in pink and is adorned with all-over butterfly patterns, making it a unique antique item that would be a prized possession for any collector. The vase is not signed, but the quality of its craftsmanship speaks volumes. The item is part of the Bird and Butterfly product line and is a vintage piece from the United States. In exquisite pristine condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or cloudiness. I’m not convinced it was ever used. Magnificent and stunning are the only two words that adequately describe this piece. This particular size of the 717 vase is quite rare, seeing as it was so tall, they were easily tipped over and broken so very few have survived, almost 100 years later. The piece is not marked by Cambridge indicating it was made around 1935 or later as Cambridge dropped their Mark in 1935 as they felt it was too ostentatious. Downsizing a 40 year collection. You won’t be disappointed
