Description

This is an original Blenko mid-century art glass vase. I have seen similar ones in catalogs from the 1950's and 1960's, but this orange / tangerine color seems to be very uncommon compared to others. Size is about 3" tall and 16" long. This one has a tiny flea bite on the outer rim, very hard to see but there is a picture of it. I couldn't tell it was there until I ran my fingernail along the rim and felt it. After listing the ad I found a mar in the finish, where it looks like a polisher slipped and marred the surface. The two final (added) pictures show this flaw. The flat base has what I would consider typical wear and minor scratches, shown in three of the attached pictures. One picture shows two small bubble inclusions in the glass. Overall this is a very nice, decorative piece of art. Very bright color, displays very nicely. Thank you for looking!
