Description

This listing is for one of the finest pieces I have ever owned. I bought this from a very kind woman whose husband collected antiques, researched them, catalogued them, and then put them away for decades until he passed recently. He numbered each piece and entered it in a handbook with his description of exactly what it is. I left his tags on the piece. He did an amazing job. It has four lion heads with gold rings in their mouths, and 4 lions paws at the bottom of each leg. It has water scenes on the lid, along with various insects and flowers. It is a very detailed piece! It measures approximately 9.5” tall by 6” wide. Thanks for looking. The piece is in beautiful condition, except for one chip on the inside rim of the bottom. It cannot be seen with the lid on.
