the Cobalt and Gold collection Monaco Rare vase Number 1 Of 300 Pieces Excellent!. Show stopper, stunning, rare, first production number one gorgeous piece the manufacture de porcelain de Monaco was founded in 1972 by Eric Rozewicz, with the encouragement and support of his serene, highness prince rainier the third and her serene highness, princess, grace of Monaco.. Eric Rozewicz was living in France at the time consulting porcelain engineer and painting in his free time. When exhibiting his personal work in Paris, in 1971, he received an unexpected and improvised visit of princess, Grace and prince Rainier who later, asked him if he wouldn’t be interested to build a company to manufacture of luxury porcelain in Monaco. This particular vase is designed by Eric Rosa, which I said on the base, he sadly has passed I believe this is 300 pieces, of which this is no 1 This is about as rare as it gets. This is a rare numbered vase no. 1 by the world renowned porcelain De Monaco – fournisseur bevete de S.A.S le prince souverain Absolutely one in 1 million .. Selling for a lady who purchased this in Monaco Monte Carlo many many years ago and paid a small fortune for it. She said this was purchased at a shop that only sold pieces that will by appointment to the prince of Monaco .. Absolutely stunning pristine condition, no damage of any kind.. no flea bites, no hairlines no cracks…..pristine Stands approximately 10 1/4 inches, and is approximately 5 inches wide at its widest point… The gold decoration looks fantastic. I can’t see any missing spots. Incredible Pattern in 24 karat gold.
