BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE CHINESE/ASIAN VASE WITH IMPERIAL YELLOW DRAGON MOTIF IN NICE ANTIQUE CONDITION. MOST NOTABLE IS THE RARE FORM OR SHAPE. IN ALL MY RESEARCH I HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE IN THIS FORM. THE BOTTOM OR FLOOR IS NOT THE TYPICAL AQUA BLUE COLORED ENAMEL OF THE LAST 2/3 OF THE 20TH CENTURY AND HAS NO MARKINGS. I WOULD DATE IT BETWEEN 1880 AND 1920 OF THE LATE QING DYNASTY, PROBABLY LAST HALF OF THE 1800'S. IN OVER ALL GOOD CONDITION COMMENSURATE WITH AGE! NO REMARKABLE DINGS, SOME PITTING, AND SOME TINY HOLES/PITTING AT THE BOTTOM RIM WHERE THE ENAMEL MEETS THE METAL FLOOR. MOSTLY ONLY VISIBLE UNDER CLOSE EXAMINATION. A REALLY BEAUTIFUL PIECE!
